New Delhi: Filmmaker Karan Johar usually grills and roasts the guests on his chat show Koffee With Karan. However, when he was invited by Farah Khan on the latter’s cookery show Farah Ki Daawat, he asked Khan to not remind him of the infamous AIB (All India Bak****) roast.
The 42-year-old laughed through all the jokes about his insult-comedy gig, and joked that Farah should not remind him of his disasters. “Farah was making constant references to the roast that stirred up a controversy.
The Maharashtra government ordered a probe into the comedy show organised by AIB after Mumbai police received multiple complaints against the show that went viral on the internet last week for using obscene language and content. The first-of-its-kind show in India, AIB Knockout was an attempt to raise funds for charity. The show saw some stand-up comedians making jokes on the two celebrity guests in the forms of Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor.
Reacting to the controveries surrounding the event, Karan Johar had tweeted, “Not your cup of tea…don’t drink it!!!”
