Hyderabad: The Golconda police on Friday busted a sex racket at OU Colony in Shaikpet area and rescued a sex worker. The organiser Deshabattula Vijay, 30, of Shaikpet, who had been running the racket for a couple of months was arrested. He had been providing ‘the service’ to potential customers. However, the two other organizers, Ramesh and Muskan, managed to give a slip to police. The sleuths established contact and struck a deal with the pimps through decoy customer, following which a trap was laid and accused was nabbed.
In a separate incident, police conducted a raid on an apartment in Gachibowli on Friday and rescued two Mumbai-based models. They arrested the organisers and sent the women to rescue home. Among the arrested persons, a noted industrialist is said to be allegedly involved in this high-profile sex-racket. Further investigation is on.
