New Delhi, May 11: Janata Party president Dr Subramanian Swamy today called for early Lok Sabha elections, in view of the resignations of two senior ministers of Manmohan Singh cabinet.

Speaking to reporters, Swamy said: “This is just the beginning. It is now clear that Congress ministers are involved in the scams, and the main issue which is left now is Coalgate. In the end, the court’s decision will be final.”

Swamy alleged that petrol price was cut during the Karnataka polls by the UPA government at the Centre to garner votes. “The cost of producing petrol is only Rs 30, that means Rs 45 rupees tax is being levied.”
