Thiruvananthapuram: The KPCC will ask the AICC to take action on Congress MP Shashi Tharoor for supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat campaign.
The 25-minute meeting was attended by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, PCC chief V.M. Sudheeran and home minister Ramesh Chennithala. They said Mr Tharoor being an AICC spokesperson, the party leadership would have to take action.
Mr Tharoor remained defiant and tweeted that he was delighted that the party was preparing a report against him.
“That means they might finally actually read what I wrote instead of oral summaries,” the former minister said.
