Tirupati: The mysterious death of a 10th grad student at a private school in Tirupati on September 4th took a political turn with YSR Congress leaders led by Nagari MLA Ms R.K. Roja extending solidarity to the parents of the deceased boy who undertook a protest near the private school on Thursday.

Mohan Krishna Reddy, studying Class X was found lying in a pool of blood during the lunch hour at a private school on the September 4 and succumbed to injuries on way to the hospital. While the local police have been maintaining that the death of the boy was accidental, the parents and relatives strongly believe the death of their boy was not accidental.

Though the parents of the deceased have made several appeals to the local police to establish the facts, their repeated appeals have fell on deaf ears.

Meanwhile, Ms Roja, who arrived at the school expressed her sympathies to the parents of the deceased on Thursday and demanded that the cops render justice to the family who have lost their son.

Speaking to media persons, Ms Roja accused minister for municipal administration P. Narayana of running an education mafia in the state. She pointed out that there were several lapses in the investigation and accused the police was trying to mop-up the case by registering Mohan Krishna Reddy death as an accidental.

Meanwhile, Chandragiri MLA Dr Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy also reached the spot and lashed out at the law enforcing agencies for abetting with the accused. He demanded the state government to initiate action against minister Narayana over the mysterious death of the Class X student. The YSRC MLA demanded that the school management render justice to the family of Mohan Krishna Reddy.

Both the YSRC leaders demanded that the state government initiate a judicial probe over the mysterious death of the student besides cancelling the permission of the school and hold the people responsible for the death of the boy accountable.
