Mangalore, July 01: DVD containing songs of much awaited “Lucia” movie has been released on June 30, Sunday at city’s Cineplex in a simple ceremony.
Addressing the gathering and media reporters,’Pavan Kumar’, producer of the movie said in his address that this is my second movie and expenses for the production of this movie has been mobilized from the public fund and contains 110 crew members . An opportunity has been given to outsider for singing in this movie but he too is from the state only, he informed.
Stating further he said that we have to be proud because this movie has been selected for “Indian-London” film festival.
Naveen Sajju, Ananya Bhat, Udith Harithas, Bappi Blasam and Arun have excelled in singing. Sathish B, Kusumavathi, Shruti Hariharan Pramukh are all in the cast. This picture will hit the screen soon across the state, he added.
Sathish, the hero of movies said in his address that Mangalore is not new to me and visited earlier for the shooting of ‘Pancharangi’ movie. All these time I was appearing on screen in small small roles but this time in this picture for the first time, I will be in lead-Hero role, in fact this has brought me happiness and satisfaction, he added.
It took one year to complete the production of this film and in this movie personal emotions have been included says Poornachandra Thejasvi, a lyric composer.
Shruti Hariharan, heroine of the movie said in her address that this is my first movie and I am basically from Kerala and studied in Bangalore. In this movie I have worked hard, she added.
Kirthan Shetty, Cinepolis unit head, Sathish Kumar, area manager south and Prashanth Rasquino were present in the function.
