UAE Bunts, announces 39th Family Get-together on 26th April, 2013 (Friday) at JW Marriott Hotel, Dubai.
The day long fun filled event will have variety of dances, music, skits, yakshagana and fashion show presented by our own family members. UAE level folk dance competition is the main attraction of the day. Mr.Ganesh Hegde (wel-known choreographer of bollywood) is our Chief Guest and Mr.Kudi Vasanth Shetty, Teacher (recipient of Rastra Prashasthi), a very good orator in English, Kannada & Tulu is going to receive “Bunta Vibhooshana” Prashasthi from UAE Bunts. Dr.B R Shetty, the patron of UAE Kannadiga’s will be presiding.
Mr.Ganesh Hegde (wel-known choreographer of bollywood)
Ganesh Hegde is an Indian singer, performer, video director and Bollywood choreographer.
Born in Mumbai. His parents are Harish Subbaiah Hegde and Vidya Hegde,[citation needed] Hegde is best known for his work in the Oscar-nominated film Lagaan and for his musical numbers in Company. Ganesh has choreographed many stage shows, namely Temptations 2004, the Bollywood rock concert which toured America with huge stars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukherjee, Preity Zinta, Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Rampal.Choreography
He has been associated with the Zee Cine Awards since conception and has been choreographing the Filmfare Awards for the past decade.
Hegde’s famous choreographed sequences include “It’s Magic” from Koi Mil Gaya, “Dum” from Dum, “Main Hoon Don” from Don – The Chase Begins Again and Chammak Challo from RA One .
Hegde is responsible for giving birth to the item number and item gal concept with songs like:

Singing
In October 2005 Ganesh released his debut album “G” with the backing and promotion of Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan. He is reported as the first Indian pop act to produce, write, direct and star in his debut music video (for his single Main Deewana). He is also credited with launching the career of Indian model and actress Yana Gupta, for whom he crafted the song “Babuji” in the film Dum.[citation needed]
Hegde started out performing with Asha Bhonsle on stage shows and she is reported to have convinced him to release his own album. She has sung a duet with him in G.Hegde then launched his Second Pop album Let’s party in August 2011 . It has tracks featuring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif in the title song Let’s Party and Bipasha Basu and Priyanka Chopra in Mind blowing girls . The album was launched by Shahrukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Bipasha Basu, Priyanka Chopra and some other celebrities.[1]
Hegde has also sung the rap Kaun Banega Crorepati promo song ‘ Ek Sawaal Ka Sawaal Hai ‘, for the third season of the show hosted by Shah Rukh Khan .The song is available on a T Series album titled ‘ Shah Rukh Khan Kar Le Kar Le Koi Dhamaal’.The video was conceptualized and directed by Hegde.

He is an alumnus of the prestigious Umedbhai Patel English school(MALAD) and P.D. Lions College in Mumbai.

Personal Life
Ganesh and Sunayna
Ganesh Hegde got married on June 5. He tied the knot to his girlfriend of six years, Sunayna Shetty, in a private ceremony in Mumbai. Sunayna is a stylist by profession and is responsible for styling Ganesh for all his public appearances.
The couple had known each other from last 10 years and started dating six years back.
Informing his fans on a social networking site the choreographer wrote, “I am getting married next week and that’s the reason why have not been in action here with you guys..it’s on the 5th of June and it’s in Mumbai..hope I get all the love and best wishes as this one seems to be tough choreography..he he..love g.”
Mr.Kudi Vasanth Shetty, Teacher (recipient of Rastra Prashasthi)
Kudi Vasantha Shetty, headmaster of Sri Vishnumurthy High School at Kudi village in Udupi taluk of Udupi district, has been chosen for the national-level Best Teacher Award, according to the Department of Public Instruction here on Thursday.
Mr. Shetty has been serving as the founder-headmaster of Sri Vishnumurthy School at Kudi since 1980.
He is among the senior headmasters in Udupi district, serving in the post for the past 32 years. Mr. Shetty had his primary education at Marne and Patla villages, and high school education at Moodubelle village. He did his B.A. degree at MGM College in Udupi.He then did his B.Ed. at Dr. T.M.A. Pai College of Education here. He did his M.A. in Kannada from the University of Mysore, while in service.
Mr. Shetty told that he was delighted at getting the award as his services as a teacher had been recognised.
“I am glad that my school which is in rural area had received recognition. I began my career as a headmaster. My father was also a teacher and being from a rural area, I had a vision on how a school should be run. I followed it. Among other things, we give importance to discipline and time-maintenance in our school,” he said.
Education officer at the Department of Public Instruction Ashok Kamath said Mr. Shetty would receive the award from President Pranab Mukherjee at the Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi on Teachers’ Day on September 5.
