Abu Dhabi government services to get boost

New members of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council took oath on Sunday before General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The new members of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council took oath here on Sunday before General Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, at Al Mushrif Palace.

The members included Saeed Eid Al Ghafli, Chairman of the Department of Municipal Affairs; Ali Majed Al Mansouri, Chairman of the Department of Economic Development; Dr Amel Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Director-General of Abu Dhabi Executive Council; Mohammed Khalfan Al Rumaithi, Deputy-General Commander of Abu Dhabi Police.

General Shaikh Mohammed stressed the keenness of Shaikh Khalifa on updating and developing integrated government services to boost the competitiveness of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi so as to meet the needs of the country.

General Shaikh Mohammed wished them success in their new duties and thanked the former executive council members for their efforts during their tenure in office.

The new members pledged to the UAE President to work harder with loyalty to implement his directives in THE service of the dear homeland and Emirati people.

The swearing in ceremony was attended by Shaikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Adviser and Vice-Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council; Shaikh Hamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Chief of Abu Dhabi Crown Prince’s Court; Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan, Executive Council Member; Shaikh Sultan bin Tahnoun Al Nahyan, Chairman of the Department of Transport; Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Secretary-General of Abu Dhabi Executive Council; Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Authority Affairs; Hamad Mohammed Al Hurr Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Department of Finance; and Nasser Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Energy Authority and Dr Mugheer Khamis Al Khaili, Chairman of the Health Authority.
