Moderate winds will blow over northern parts of UAE and rough seas are expected to blow dust and sand inland.
Cloudy skies and scattered rainfall will continue to affect parts of the UAE today and tomorrow. A low-pressure trough moving towards the Arabian Gulf has caused the change in weather, increasing the possibility of rainfall.
An update by the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) stated: “The low pressure system has developed rapidly in upper air and clouds that developed over coastal areas moved towards Al Ain. These factors caused different intensity of rainfall in various areas.”
The weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, especially over northern and eastern areas with a chance of rain over these areas. Moderate winds will blow over northern parts of UAE and rough seas are expected to blow dust and sand inland.
“Cloud formation will increase over different parts of the UAE especially in the northern and eastern areas with a chance of rainfall. Northwesterly winds are expected to be strong on Wednesday especially over the sea. The sea will be very rough with a fall in daytime temperature over most areas. The volume of clouds will decrease gradually during daytime,” according to the weather prediction by NCMS for Tuesday and Wednesday.
Humidity is also expected to increase over the next two days and the weather will continue to remain unstable.
NCMS has advised people to take precautionary measures when going to deep sea in Arabian Gulf and Oman Sea during the period mentioned above. Motorists should take care while driving during rain, it advised.
