Police launch investigation after construction workers find 43-year-old’s body.
Sharjah: A man committed suicide on Saturday night by hanging himself with a plastic cable in a house under construction, a Sharjah Police official said.
The body of K.R., 43, from India, was discovered hanging from the ceiling in the Al Qraan area at 6am on Sunday.
Police said the victim was found by construction workers.Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department and forensic experts inspected the scene.
Condemning such acts, the police official urged people contemplating suicide to think rationally and overcome problems rather than resorting to such extreme steps.
Al Gharb Police launched an investigation into the incident while the man’s body was moved to Kuwait Hospital and later to the forensic laboratory for an autopsy.
