‘NIREL’ Release in MUSCAT

After many successful full house shows in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and India, the much awaited and talked about first ever international Tulu movie ‘Nirel’ is all set to release on Friday, 14th March in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman in Star Cinema, CBD, Ruwi.

‘Nirel’ a triangular love story, was produced by Mr. Shodhan Prasad, along with co-producer, San Poojary. Mr. Prasad needs no introduction in Muscat as he lived in Oman for more than 15 years and was actively involved with various socio/cultural activities under the erstwhile Tulu Koota.

The movie directed by Ranjith Bajpe will also hit theatres in other parts of the Gulf soon. The music of the movie has been composed by Abhishek S N, and the songs have already become a hit. Sameer Mhatre, Aditya Kudalkar and Swapnil Digde have beautifully arranged and programmed the music.

The Tulu speaking people in Muscat have been eagerly waiting for the release of Nirel and the producers have been receiving innumerable calls from the Tulu loving people residing in Muscat ever since the overwhelming response from Dubai, Abu Dhabi audience.

The main star cast consists of lead actor Anoop, heroines Varuna and Deepthi, Deepak Paladka, Subhash Bangera, Rajendra Pai, Anand Salian, Vidya Shivkumar, Nindiya Prasad, Sandhya Prasad, Vishwapathi Bhat, Ravi Moleyar, Jameel Sheikh, Donald Correa, Praveen D’Souza, Vikram Shetty, Joel, Claudy, Samantha Hegde, Sanmatha Hegde, Poorvi Karkera, Srilatha Hegde, Charisma Poojary, Michelle Rego, and Yogita Salian. There are many more who have appeared in short scenes in the movie, including special appearances by Sandalwood star Ramesh Arvind in a very important scene and actress Ria D’Souza in a scintillating scene.

Shodhan Prasad, San Poojary and the entire Nirel team are requesting the Mangalorean community living in Oman to come in large numbers for the release of the movie in Muscat and show your solidarity and support to Tulu language and make ‘Nirel’ a grand success.
