Kuwait Kannada Koota is a premier socio-cultural association in Kuwait, representing the people of Karnataka State founded in the year 1984 .The association has been spreading rich cultural heritage of Karnataka and Kannada language among the members with special emphasis given to children of the Koota who are away from their mother-land in making them socially responsible adults of tomorrow with social values and ethics.
The new office-bearers for the year 2014 were elected at the Annual general body meeting held in the last week of December 2013. Mr.N.D.Vasuki, past President and one of the founder member of Kuwait Kannada Koota was the returning officer of the elections conducted at the AGM of the Koota.
In the elections conducted, the office bearers elected for the year 2014 are Dr.Diwakar, as the President, Mr.Vishweshwar Karkal as the Vice President, Mr.Ananthmangalagi as secretary & Mr.Rajesh Vittal as the treasurer. All Koota members and the outgoing office bearers Mr.R.Dinesh, Mr.Vijay Kairagala, Mr.P.Ramesh & Mr.Ramesh Chikanna congratulated the new office bearers.
