London: Australian spin legend Shane Warne’s ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Hurley was the centre of attraction during Thursday’s Woodside Summer Ball to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation at the grand Windsor Mansion.
The model and actress ensured she got the charity auction off to a swing by putting herself under the hammer.
A lip-lock with the Bedazzled star made high-profile bidders go in a frenzy. Julian Bharti finally won the bid for a staggering £50,000 (approximately $81, 569 or Rs 49 lakh), the Daily Mail reported.
Hurley ensured the mind-boggling sum was justified, as she didn’t hold back when it came to the kiss, pulling the banking heir — son of financial tycoon Stan Bharti — into a passionate embrace.
The pair then lapped up the attention from the crowd, with Hurley pulling a series of poses. The money raised through the auction goes to the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
