Mumbai: Sanjay Gupta has scored a biggie this time. After much speculation about whose film Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will make a comeback in, it is confirmed that Sanjay is the man. Ash will soon start shooting for his film Jazbaa.
Ask him how difficult or easy was it to get the former Miss World on board, and he credits Abhishek Bachchan for it. Sanjay says, “I was discussing another film with Abhishek and suddenly I happened to mention Jazbaa. He loved the idea and asked me who was I planning on casting. I simply said, ‘Your wife’. And he was certain that Ash would love the script. That’s it. Just like that, she was on board.”
We hear the actress may perform some eye-popping stunts in the film. “We have some deadly stunts planned. She may look dainty but this film will see her in an action avatar. Action thrillers are what I enjoy and I can never see myself making a soppy love story or an art film,” he says.
