New Delhi, November 13: Actor Sunny Deol will be seen all over the small screen in the coming week as he will be promoting his upcoming film, Singh Saab The Great, directed by Anil Sharma on television.

Known to be a recluse, mediashy and wary of extensively promoting his films, 57- year- old Sunny finally decided to shed his inhibitions and make an appearance on popular TV shows.

In the film, which is slated for a release on November 22, Sunny plays a collector fighting against corruption. He appeared on the weekend show of Bigg Boss with host Salman Khan last week.
Sunny will soon also be seen in the hit comedy show Comedy Nights with Kapil and CID . Keeping pace with the most top stars in Bollywood who exhaustively promote their films before by making an appearance on various TV shows, Sunny too, is set to take the same route.

A few months ago Dharmendra and Bobby Deol appeared in a few TV shows during the release of the film Yamla, Pagla Deewana 2, but Sunny refrained from showing up.

However, with his films like Singh Saab The Great, I Love New Year, Mohalla Assi and Ghayal Returns awaiting release, Sunny has decided to make a connect with his huge fan base via TV. In the Bigg Boss episode Weekend Ka Wow, Salman did not miss a chance to take a dig at Sunny’s shy nature and expressed his amusement at his decision to appear on the show to promote a film. ” I am simply not good at it,” Sunny said shyly, as he admitted that he still gets cold feet when asked to talk about his film or made to dance.

Nevertheless, Salman and Sunny did try a few steps from each other’s hit numbers like Sunny’s famous Yara O Yara and Salman’s Dabangg . Salman jokingly narrated how Sunny could not muster up the courage to walk the ramp for a fashion show organised by his charitable organisation Being Human.

Sunny also showed his funny bone as he fooled around with stand- up comedian Kapil Sharma on his show. ” Sunny has a unique comic timing and Punjabi humour, which came out when Kapil started with his wisecracks on the show,” a source from the unit said.
