In a double role, the actress will be seen in both the aforementioned avatars.
Jacqueline Fernandez has been on a film signing spree post her split with director Sajid Khan. Most of the films portray her in a sexy, glamorous avatar, that she has been lighting up the red carpet with, in the past few months.
Something that was a no-no when she was dating Khan. However, one director doesn’t want Jackie to be a just another pretty face (or hot bod) for his film.
In Vicky Singh’s film, in which the actress is playing a double role (opposite Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal), she will be seen in a glam girl image, as well as the girl-next-door. Says a source, “In most films, where actors have a double role, one is usually good and one is bad. However, Jackie plays a good girl in both her roles.”
Vicky adds, “I felt Jackie was right for my characters after my second meeting with her and seventh cup of coffee! I haven’t seen any of her films at all. I told Jackie after she agreed to do my film that ‘I just need you to talk in the film.’ I just spoke with her and signed her on pure instinct. She was perfect for the roles.”
