Deepika Padukone’s women empowerment video called “My Choice” got equal number of likes and dislikes from the public and B-town celebs towards her statements in video.
Sonakshi Sinha too has aired her opinion on Deepika’s video saying, “I have not seen the video but I know the thought behind it which is women empowerment. It’s a good initiative and I believe it is coming from a good space. But honestly, I believe empowerment should be given to women who need it and who are far away from where we are right now. We have been bred and brought up in luxury”.
Sonakshi continues her statement, “Empowerment is not just always about the kind of clothes you wear or sex or stuff like that. It’s about employment and about strength. It’s a good initiative but it should reach out to people who actually need it in the deep ends of our country.” She added.
