Actress Shruti Haasan is happy with the response to the teaser of her upcoming film Gabbar Is Back, and says the project is a good opportunity for fulfilling her dream to work with Akshay Kumar.
“I’m very happy with the response to the teaser of Gabbar Is Back. It is a unique film. I’m getting a good opportunity not only to work with Akshay sir (Akshay Kumar), but a very good role as well,” the actress said here on Thursday at the launch of a bar and cafe.
The daughter of veteran actors Kamal Haasan and Sarika, Shruti says her role in the new film is “different”.
Directed by Krish, Gabbar is Back is a remake of 2002 Tamil film Ramanaa. Slated for release on May 1, the film also features Sonu Sood and Nikitin Dheer.
