After an average opening at the ticket windows, collections for Anushka Sharma-starrer NH10 picked up on Saturday. While Navdeep Singh’s NH10 earned Rs 3.35 crore on Friday, it garnered 4.5 crore on Saturday – a difference of Rs 1 crore.

NH10, which is Anushka’s production debut in Bollywood, was made at an estimated budget of Rs 14 crore.

Considering that the film’s promotions were sidetracked just before the release date due to censor issues and its low budget, the two-day total collection of Rs 7.85 crore is not bad.

NH10’s earnings are likely to pick up over the weekend, following the positive word-of-mouth publicity it has received.

“This is an unusual film and I am certain that this film will grow through word of mouth. People have been tweeting about the review and I hope this film grows with each passing day,” Krishika Lulla, co-producer of NH10, told IANS.

The film also stars Neil Bhoopalam and Darshan Kumar in lead roles.
