It wasn’t me: Arjun Rampal takes on #fakepress for ‘cooking up’ divorce story

A livid Arjun Rampal recently lashed out at the media after a news report claimed that he and his wife, Mehr Jessica, were spotted outside a Bandra court, reportedly filing for divorce. While the actor has maintained his cool so far, with several reports of his marriage heading towards splitsville doing the rounds, he did not take this latest allegation lying down and slammed the media for ‘cooking up’ such stories.

Calling out the news paper for circulating such baseless rumours, Rampal went with the hashtag, “FakePress” and wrote on Twitter:

The actor clarified that the only reason he and his wife were at the Bandra court is because his friend Marc Robinson is going through a divorce with his wife, Waluscha De Sousa.

Rumours of Rampal and Jessia heading towards a divorce have been doing the rounds ever since Hrithik Roshan and Sussane Khan announced their divorce last year. Several media reports alleged that Rampal was the reason for Roshan and Khan’s split. Rampal and Roshan both trashed a Bombay Times report of Rampal going on a holiday  with Sussane Khan. However, despite all four parties involved in the controversy repeatedly denying any relationship between Rampal and Khan, the rumour mills kept churning out stories on the same
