Mumbai: Divyanka Tripathi, of Ye Hai Mohababtein fame, and actor Ssharad Malhotra have decided to part ways. It had taken the couple seven years to admit to their relationship.
The popular star couple rose to fame from their on screen chemistry in the hit television show ‘Banoo Main Teri Dulhan’.
After their show wrapped up, Ssharad went ahead to try his luck in Bollywood and avoided doing television shows and Divyanka continued with the medium that made her a household name as Ishita Bhalla.
“The decision of calling off the relationship is mutual. We had a beautiful journey and the loveliest memories are helping us part ways cordially. Yet, it’s a painful process and speculations only increase the pain. We request the media to be considerate. This is the final word on this subject and we won’t be talking about what went wrong in our relationship. We believe it wasn’t destined to last,” said their joint statement to the media.
The news comes close on the heels of TV actors’ Karan Singh Grover and Jennifer Winget’s decision to end their marriage.
