The 7th Royal Stag Mirchi Music Awards, powered by Idea, honoured the best of Hindi music in a thrilling night power-packed with musical legends, upcoming talent and entertaining performances.
Madhuri Dixit-Nene, who received a special honour, also took to the mike to show her singing prowess, even as host Ayushmann Khurrana pointed out that her maximum songs had the word ‘Ram’ in them, which is probably why she ended up marrying Shriram Nene. Twenty of the industry’s top singers sang Javed Akhtar’s unforgettable songs. Sonu Nigam paid a special tribute to RD Burman for his 75th birth anniversary as he performed some of his evergreen hits.
