New Delhi: The legal battle between the makers of the film Main Hoon Rajinikanth and South Indian superstar Rajinikanth has come to an end. The makers of Main Hoon Rajinikanth were informed on February 3 that the court has ruled in favour of actor Rajinikanth.

“My Lawyer informed me today that the Madras High Court has passed the Interim Order in favor of Rajini Sir. We are yet to receive the order of course. But if that’s the case, I think we must respect the judgement as graceful citizens and accept it in a good taste. Personally, We must not hurt the Superstar or his fans more. We should change the title and release the film and make the superstar and his fans happy and also avoid any further loss,” said Faisal Saif, writer-director of Main Hoon Rajinikanth.

Saif further said, “My Producers might approach Supreme Court but I am not sure on this. Personally speaking we must all respect the judgement from the Madras High Court and must not elaborate further on this matter. If my Producers still wish to proceed, It will be their call.”

Rajinikanth had objected to the title of the film which allegedly used his name as a metaphor.

Main Hoon Rajinikanth features Adithya Menon and Kavita Radheshyam in the lead roles.
