Mumbai: Pretty actress Anushka Sharma who was last seen on big screens in ‘PK’ earned all the praises and applauds from all over for her powerful performance in the same.
The actress will soon be seen on big screens in her next ‘NH10’ which happens to be her debut home production. The actress in the film will be seen in complete different look compared to what we have seen in her earlier releases, as the actress in the film will be seen sans make up.
As one does get to see in the picture, the actress can be seen all bruised and wounded , as it does seem that the gorgeous diva met with an accident.
It wasn’t that easy for the actress to achieve the look that one get to in the picture. To attain this particular look and to make it look all real and natural, ‘NH10’s director Navdeep Singh specially brought in well known makeup artist Romy who has already work with various biggies from Hollywood.
Talking about the same, Navdeep in an interview to a leading tabloid said, “It’s a gritty, gory film but thanks to Romy, when you see Anushka lying in a pool of blood, her skin peeling off, you will never guess the amount of prosthetics involved”.
The director further added, “It’s a new-age thriller and the prosthetics helped to break stereotypes. Anushka is a star but in this film we did not want to glamourise her at all.The protagonist is a woman who is assaulted but she is spirited and fights back. We wanted the scratches, bruises and gashes she sustains to look convincing. That’s why a specialist in make-up and design was brought in. Romy’s experiences on stage and European films gives the film an world cinema look”.
Other than Anushka, the film also stars Neil Bhoopalam and Darshan Kumar in lead.
