And the queen of pop stayed true to form as she posed topless for US arts magazine at 56.
In the eye-popping photos the singer is snapped in sexy lingerie with her bare breasts on full show.
And Madge, widely rumoured to have had extensive cosmetic surgery, looked surprisingly pert for a woman approaching her 60th birthday.
But the racy shoot certainly isn’t the first time the icon has left people stunned.
In a very revealing interview for the magazine, conducted by her magician friend David Blaine, Madonna spoke about death, drugs, prostitution and how she’s attracted to creative people.
Discussing drugs, Madonna told him: “It’s about how people take drugs to connect to God or to a higher level of consciousness. I keep saying, ‘Plugging into the matrix’.
“If you get high, you can do that, which is why a lot of people drop acid or do drugs, because they want to get closer to God.
“But there’s going to be a short circuit, and that’s the illusion of drugs, because they give you the illusion of getting closer to God, but ultimately they kill you.”
She then added: “I mean, I tried everything once, but as soon as I was high, I spent my time drinking tons of water to get it out of my system. As soon as I was high, I was obsessed with flushing it out of me. I was like, Okay, I’m done now.”
Asked what the most important profession is, the star also replied: “Prostitution, of course.”
The star proves despite being over 50, she can still give the likes of Kim Kardashian a run for her money. Although, we’re not quite sure she’ll be showing that much flesh in the future.
