Technology really makes the world a smaller place. Until now, interviews were either done in person or over the telephone, but Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha recently spoke to us on a video conference — as they could not make the trip to Bengaluru.
During the interaction, Ajay let us in on the fact that he was so impressed with Sudeep after watching him in Makkhi — the Hindi version of Eega —that he wanted to work with him in a Hindi film. “I love Sudeep’s acting and had, in fact, asked Prabhudheva if we could cast him in Action Jackson. Unfortunately, it didn’t work out,” says the actor.
Another member of the Kannada film industry to have impressed Prabhu and Ajay is stunt choreographer Ravi Varma. “The way Ravi has choreographed some of the action sequences is brilliant. It is very different and stylized. Prabhu and Ravi’s combination has resulted in some very good action sequences,” says Ajay. Looks like Sandalwood’s had a lasting impact on Bollywood celebrities.
