On November 27th, Australian left handed bastmen, Phillip Hughes (Phil Hughes), passed away at St. Vincent Hospital in Sydney, after battling for his life for almost 3 days. The cricketer was hit on the head by a nasty bouncer while playing the Shield Game at Sydney Cricket Ground. The whole of cricketing world was shocked by the tragic death of the young and promising cricketer.

A host of Indian cricketers and celebrities tweeted and gave their reaction over the tragic death of Phillip Hughes. They expressed their shock and offered condolences for the family and friends of the departed soul. Among those who tweeted were Kannada actresses Priyamani and Parul Yadav.

Reacting to the news Priyamani tweeted, “RIP Philip Hughes!!!sad news indeed!!!:(” She further tweeted in support of the bowler Sean Abbot. She tweeted, “Thoughts and prayers also with Sean Abbott who will have to live with this news :(“.

It was Sean Abbott who bowled the bouncer that ultimately caused the fatal head injury. The reports suggest that Sean Abbott, who was a good friend of Phil, is completely shattered and unable to cope up with the death of his friend. Parul Yadav also tweeted her reaction about the incident. She tweeted, “Its very shocking to hear about #PhillipHughes. In spite of wearing a safety helmet,the ball took his life! Its just so unreal!” She further said, “I’m speechless and highly taken aback. RIP #PhillipHughes.”

Both the actresses are cricket enthusiasts. Cricket fans all over the world are shocked by the sad demise of a promising young cricketer. Phil Hughes was just 25 years old at the time of his death.
