YAARIYAN director and wife of T-Series Head Honcho Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar has announced the cast of her next which will be a romantic film. The film will star Pulkit Samrat, Yami Gautam and Urvashi Rautela in the lead.
As per the reports by a city tabloid, which stated that actresses Shruti Haasan, Aditi Rao Hydari and Yami Gautam were approached for Divya ‘s next project but, the actresses tuned down the film.
But those were nothing but rumors. Despite Divya refuting the news, the tabloid carried the news. Divya Khosla Kumar said, “I have just finished my script and Bhushan has liked it. We both have mutually agreed on the cast. Pulkit and Yami fits the bill and for this I wanted more matured looking actors. Post the look test that we did with them, they are looking perfect together.” On the reports that were published in the tabloid she adds, “It is such a trustworthy newspaper, but I am really upset with the story they went head and published when I continuously said this information is wrong.”
Pulkit adds, “I loved the way Divya treated her debut film and was a big hit of 2014. I am happy to be on board for this love story which will be my very first matured love story genre film. My costar Yami is a great actress and I hope our pairing is accepted well by our audience.”
Yami refuting the rumours of not doing the film said, ‘Bhushanji once happened to speak to me about Divya Maam ‘snext film. I loved the look of the lead girl and story flow so much that I knew I want to be a part of the film. Post some look tests and script narration I happily signed the dotted line. I really like my look and character in the film and I am very excited to start the project.’
The film goes on floors by the end of this year.
