The three decades old directors association – Kannada Film Directors Association – KANFIDA in the new leadership of veteran director PH Vishwanath is looking at past and present for a good future.
The members of KANFIDA after election met the media on Monday morning to explain various programs chalked out in the coming days.
·We are continuing with KANFIDA awards on June 5 next year, we are inviting the bigwigs of Indian cinema industry a day in advance to have a discussion our directors.
·KANFIDA is starting up a good library of 2000 books and 650 world films.
·Join hands with Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy and take up workshop on literature in Mysore, Bijapur, Hubli, Mangalore and Gulbarga.
·We have come up with health camps from January 2015.
·‘The Director’ is the tri monthly magazine, on the usage of technicalities in cinema we would upgrade ourselves stated PH Vishwanath.
