Virasat: In the year 1997, Tabu went on to do her one of the most remembered films till date, Virasat. The film was not only critically hit but also garnered big at the box office. Tabu looked extremely enthralling playing Gehna and the character made her won the Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actress.
Chandni Bar:Playing Mumtaz Ali Ansari, Tabu presented herself as a bar dancer. And this Madhur Bhandarkar directorial proved Tabu’s magnificence of carrying an entire film on her sole shoulders. The film set a bench mark of critic acclaim and also raised standards of an actress in Indian cinema. Her performance in the film credited her second National Film Award for Best Actress.
