New Delhi: The Chopra sisters- Priyanka and Parineeti weren’t just enough to rule Bollywood that now their cousin Barbie Handa who is now known as Mannara is all set to sizzle on screen with her Bollywood debut movie ‘Zid’.
And what a debut she is about to make. The poster is here and it instantly catches our attention. Not just for her ‘dare to bare’ act but also for its intriguing backdrop. The actress has bared it all and displays her curvaceous figure giving a side pose, while she covers her assets with her hands.
She looks confident in the poster and that is what the movie requires. The tagline says, ‘come play with the fire’ but beware of those knives hanging around and at the top of actress’ head.
While most of the movies have had their female protagonist nude in the posters, Atul Agnihotri’s ‘Zid’ too looks somewhat inspired by them.
Recently Surveen Chawla flaunted her bare back in Hate Story 2 poster, which followed the trend set by its prequel in which Paoli Dam gave a sensuous pose.
‘Zid’ is also an erotic psychological thriller and Mannara who has worked in numerous movies down South cinema looks perfect for the role and is confident in doing this bold role as what she said in an interview to a leading daily.
“We are in 2014 and I can’t be in a ghoonghat. If I wanted to be all covered, I’d do a saas-bahu serial. I have a hot body and I don’t mind showing it”, said Maanara.
Mannara before her nude photo shoot for the poster took advice from her cousin sister and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra who has worked in movies like Andaaz and Aitraaz.
“Before the poster was shot, I called up Priyanka who was in Barcelona for a film. She told me to go for it, but ensure that it’s done aesthetically and didn’t look sleazy. I took her advice and am getting a lot of compliments,” Mannara added.
Well, we wish Pee Cee will give more of such advice to this newbie in Bollywood and Mannara would follow them.
