Yash’s next film after Mr & Mrs Ramachari has been given the title Masterpiece. It will be directed by dialogue writer turned director Manju Mandavya. The leading lady has not yet been confirmed. Movie is produced by Vijay Kirangdor who had earlier produced Puneeth Rajkumar film Ninnindale.
But Manju says two top south actresses are being considered; Anushka Shetty and Priya Anand. Anushka is a Kannada girl who started in Kannada serials and now is a big star in Telugu film industry. Priya Anand is making waves in south industries now. One of the two is certain to be the heroine of Masterpiece. Which of the two will bag the role is still not clear as both are busy in top projects including Tollywood’s Bahubali among others.
The shooting for Masterpiece will start in the first week of December. Even if neither of these two actresses are confirmed by then, the shooting will commence in Bangalore. Manju has also managed to contact a Bollywood heroine for the role but is keeping the name under wraps for now. But he may settle for Anushka or Priya, sources say.
