Challenging Star Darshan and pretty lass Rachita Ram are headed to Mangalore, but before you assume that the two are pairing up again in a movie, let us clarify that their hit movie Bulbul is being re-released in that city.
Bulbul is a remake of the Telugu hit Darling and released last year. It was Rachita’s debut vehicle, and since the movie went on to do well, she is popularly called ‘Bulbul Rachita’.
It is interesting to note that Ramya was first approached to star in the movie as the producer, Darshan’s brother Dinakar Thoogudeepa, wanted to bring the two back in a movie after six long years. But Ramya opted out of the project, which worked out well for Rachita as she shot to fame after the movie.
