The festival of Diwali brought in some surprise for the housemates of Bigg Boss 8. As the participants resolved their differences and worked in unison to decorate the house, pick Diwali outfits and prepare sweets, Bigg Boss rewarded them with a Diwali surprise.
Popular TV characters Gutthi and Palak from Comedy Nights With Kapil joined the Bigg Boss contestants to make their Diwali memorable. They brought gifts and handwritten letters from the family members of the contestants. The participants get emotional on receiving messages from their family. While some jump with joy, some weep.
In order to entertain homesick participants, Gutthi and Palak play entertaining games, dividing the housemates into two groups. Team Palak includes Diandra, Karishma, Ali, Sushant, Puneet, Soni and Aarya and Team Gutthi comprises of Upen, Minissha, Gautam, Pritam, Praneet and Sonali.
While Sonali wins a ladoo eating contest, Karishma emerges victorious in tug-of-war.
The house is filled with cheers and hoots as Sonali and Gautam perform an intimate dance sequence against Sushant and Aarya. Praneet and Puneet also shake their bootiya as part of a hula-hoop game.
Thereafter, Diandra choreographs a fashion show, where contestants walk the ramp, showcasing their designer Diwali outfits.
Celebrations continue as popular TV actress Mouni Roy dances to Madhuri Dixit’s tracks along with ace choreographer Punit.
Laughter and cheer resonates in the house as the contestants celebrate Diwali with full fervour.
