Dia Mirza tied the knot with beau Sahil Sangha on October 18 this month. She took to the social media to thank fans for their blessings and best wishes.
The wedding was perfect with all the functions taking place beautifully, the bride looking splendid and friends and family besides Sahil and Dia at all times.
But during the Kanyadaan time at the wedding, Dia had to let go off the ritual. Actor Boman Irani who had promised during the shooting of Lage Raho Munna Bhai to perform her Kanyadaan was seen missing during her marriage.
He failed to fulfil his promise as he’s currently shooting for a song of Happy New Year and skipped her wedding.
Dia spoke to a leading website and said, “Boman is and will be a part of us. He could not make it for a good reason, which Sahil and I respect. My mother doesn’t believe in kanyadaan and so, the pundit very progressively re-worded the entire process. I wasn’t really ‘given’ away.”
