After bagging the lead roles in Rakshit Shetty starrer Rikki, and Vijay Raghavendra’s Ranatantra, apart from a role in Sudeep’s Ranna, she has now been selected as the heroine for Sharan in Bullet Basya.
The comedy film will be directed by Jayateertha and produced by Jayanna and Bhogendra. This is the first comedy film for the director who has made offbeat films like Olave Mandara and Tony-Ek Din Ka Sultan. The title of the film is derived from the character played by the late on-screen villain Sudheer in one of his films. It is an iconic character in Sandalwood, but will be used for a comedy role for Sharan.
Jayateertha visited the sets of Rikki to narrate the story to Haripriya earlier this week. The actress has given the nod and has been confirmed as the leading lady for Bullet Basya now. In Sudeep’s Ranna, she plays the character played by Pranitha in the Telugu original Attarintiki Daryedi.
