Rasam

Ingredient:
cloves of garlic – 6 cloves
cumin seeds – 1 tsp
medium sized tomato chopped – 3
green chillies – 4
onion – 1 small
rasam powder – 1 tbsp
fesh corriander leaves – little
salt to taste
tamarind pulp – soak in hot water to get the juice
hing – pinch
fenugreek seeds – 1 pinch
pepper – 1 tsp
turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
urd dal – 1/2tsp
tur dal – 1 /4 cup ( cook and make water about about 1 1/2 cup)

Method:

1. Take a vessel with 1 cup water

2. Add chooped tomatoes, chopped onion, chopped green chillies, chopped 3 garlic cloves and chopped corriander leaves

3. Add dal water and any rasam powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste

4. add tamaring water little according to taste

5. simmer it and bring to boil, leave it to boil for about 15 to 20 min
for seasoning :

1. crush pepper and cumin seed also crush 3 garlic cloves

2. Heat little ghee and splutter mustard.
3. Then add red dry chillies , and musturd seeds when musturd seeds crackles add urad dal and fenugreek seeds

4. add crushed pepper, cumin and garlic

5. add curry leaces.

Serve Rasam with rice.
