Virat Kohli notched up his 24th half-century to help India take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the 5-match series.

Harare:  Stand-in captain Virat Kohli made an unbeaten 68 to lead India to a seven-wicket win over Zimbabwe on Sunday and clinch their limited-overs series 3-0 with two games to play.

Kohli guided India to 187-3 after the top-ranked one-day team and world champion bowled Zimbabwe out for 183 in the third game at Harare Sports Club.

Kohli’s unbroken partnership of 56 with Suresh Raina (28 not out) settled the game and the series. Kohli also shared a 64-run stand with Ambati Rayudu as India cantered home and to another ODI success after winning the recent Champions Trophy in England and a triangular series in the West Indies.

Legspinner Amit Mishra led India’s bowling with 4-47 and the Zimbabweans struggled after their openers were removed in the first two overs
