Udupi; Jan 15: The annual festival type programme, which was held traditionally under the leadership of Shree Sodhe Vadiraja Math’s Shree Vishwavallabha Tirtha shree for the last one week was concluded on Jan 15, Wednesday along with day’s car festival’s ‘Choornotsava.
On Makara Sankrati day, after finishing the festivals of three cars, next day along with day’s car festival got concluded.
Apart from Shree Sodhe Vadiraja Matadheesha,Pejavar Math’s Shree Vishvesha Tirtha,Junior yogi (an ascetic) Shree Vishwa Prasanna Tirtha,Palimar Math’s Shree Vidhyadheesha Tirtha,Krishnapura Math’s Shree Vidhyasagar Tirtha and on Jan 18,Paryaya Peetha ascending Kaaniyoor Math’s Shree Vidhyavallabha Tirtha were participated in Choornotsava.
After the pooja,Sree Krishna-Mukhyaprana God was brought in by golden palanquin to Brahmaratha for instalation, which was parked in front of the Swagath Gopura.After performing Mangalaarathi by all the swamijis, car was taken one round of circumambulation to car street
All the Swamijis presented threw bananas, fruits, notes and coins at devotees gathered around the car. Devotees have tried to grab whatever they got in their hands. After the Utsava Shree Krishna-Mukhyaprana was brought to Math and worshipped. After that all the devotees along with yogis took bath after applying vokuli.After that Palla Pooja was performed for the items kept for Annasantharpana.Millions of people took part in the Annasantharpana programme.
