Udupi; Dec 29: In an annual Udupi district police sports meet, which was held in Udupi MGM stadium, Udupi district armed reserve police team won the overall award.
Udupi sub-division chief Nagesh and Kundapur sub-division Shubha won the individual championship. At the closing ceremony on Saturday evening, Udupi additional Superintendent of police Santhosh Kumar distributed the prizes to the winners.
Karkala assistant superintendent of police Annamalai, probationary DYSP Savita Hoogaar were present. Kundapur assistant police superintendent C.B.Patil welcomed the gathering, Udupi assistant police superintendent Dr.Prabhudev Mane proposed a vote of thanks. District police control room’s ASI Manmohan Rao compered the programme.
