Karkala; Dec 02: An incident of collision between goods tempo and bike has been reported on Dec 02, Monday on Karkala-Udupi state highway, near Kokayikallu turn in Palli village of Karkala taluk.
According to the sources, when Suresh Nayak, a resident of Parkala Herga in Udupi taluk was going towards Palli from Gundyadka in his goods rickshaw, Mallik was coming from Karkala towards Palli, this incident was occurred. The impact of the accident was such that bike rider suffered severe injuries and was admitted in Karkala Government hospital and for advanced treatment, he was taken to Mangalore hospital
It was said that bike rider’s carelessness, ignorance and over speed were the main reasons for the accident said Suresh Nayak in his complaint in the Karkala city police station..
