Udupi; Nov 29: Udupi town police have arrested a 19-year-old adolescent for sexually abusing his stepsister, who is happened to be a minor.
The accused has been identified as Sunil, a resident of Indiranagar and is a painter by profession.
A complaint has been lodged by girl’s mother on Nov 28, Thursday, 10 days after the incident came to light. In the complaint she alleged that Sunil had sexually assaulted her daughter, aged 13 on Nov 18. Based on the complaint of girl’s mother police arrested Sunil and will be produced in court on Friday November 29 evening.
The girl’s mother had married Sunil’s father after the death of her first husband.
Udupi town police have registered a case in this regard.
