Mangaluru, October 28: District In-charge Minister B Ramanath Rai has revealed that he had also received a threat call, but he ignored it.
He made this revelation while he spoke to the reporters in a event here on Tuesday, October 27th. Threat calls are common. Even though I am innocent, I am targeted. As I am least bothered, I do not want to file a police complaint about it.
On Saturday, October 24th afternoon, Minister Abhayachandra Jain had received threat call. During the call, the caller had allegedly said that Abhayachandra Jain and Ramanath Rai both were involved in the killing of Prashant Poojary.
Regarding the call, Minister Abhayachandra Jain had also informed the chief minister Siddaramaiah and home minister K J George. After the complaint, Mangaluru Police commissioner S Murugan had also visited minister Abhayachandra Jain’s house and extra security was provided at minister’s house.
