Mangalore,oct.15:From the last 5 years, the roads from Bondel towards Moodushedde has never been cleaned.
Students and staff of MSNM Besant have taken the responsibility of cleaning the stretch and acting as change agent. 14 October 2015 was the day where the students of MSNM Besant and some of the locals of Bondel joined hands to clean the surrounding.
The campaign was undertaken with collaboration the City Corporation and Primary Health Centre of Bondel. The corporator of Bondel, Ms Kavitha Sanil and head of Primary Health Centre Dr Subhas Shetty inaugurated the cleanness drive.
More than 100 students along with the faculty and staff participated in the campaign and upheld the importance of health and hygiene.
