Mangaluru, September 22: A person has been arrested by the CCB police for plotting murder of a real estate entrepreneur in Mangaluru, informed City Police Commissioner S Murugan in a press meet held at Commissionerate on Monday, September 21st here.
The arrested has been identified as Raju alias Japan Manga (24) from Kavoor. The other involved in this case will be traced soon. Raju faces three cases on the charges of murder attempt in Mangaluru Rural police station, murder case in Barke police station, and murder attempt in Kasargod police station, he informed.
In connection to 19 cases of house theft, and loot; twenty two persons have been arrested and valuables worth Rs 60,91,500 have been confiscated from the arrested, informed Commissioner S Murugan.

In order to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthy and Bakrid peacefully in the city, 120 rowdysheeters from various stations are asked to visit the police stations and bond and surety have been taken from them. Peace meet has been held in all the stations. Stringent actions will be taken against those who disrupt peace. All attempts are made to celebrate two festivals peacefully, he informed.
