Mangalore, September 16: Throughout the district, Sri Gowri-Ganesh festival is being celebrated with great devotion and fervour. Along with Ganesh temples, pendals were erected on the main streets to place the deity on the dais and worship the lord in public.
The main temples of the district were flocked by the devotees. The prices of fruits and flowers were hiked in the wake of festival.
Idol’s of Ganesha was worshiped in public at various parts of the city. People were seen moving to various streets to watch Idol of Lord Ganesh placed at various areas.
