Mangaluru, August 3: Robbers who broke into Maple store, a showroom for Apple products, at Balmatta here have fled with items valued about Rs 20 lakhs.
The theft occurred at around 2.30 am on Monday August 3rd, police sources said.
The CCTV footage have captured the images of three persons gaining entry into the shop by breaking open an electricity service board.
It is gathered that burglar alarm was fitted on the products. As soon as the siren blew, the security agency in Mumbai received an alert. Then the Mumbai security agency officials informed the manager of the store. But, by the time the manager and the police arrived at the spot, the burglars had already fled with the items.
The total value of the stolen products is estimated at Rs 20 lakhs. Canine squad and fingerprint experts were also bought to the spot.
Kadri police have taken up the investigations.
