Mangaluru, July 29: A minor girl delivered a child in a government hospital in Mangaluru after she was sexually assaulted by a youth known to her family. The girl’s family has now filed a complaint with the police against the youth.
The 15-year old class x student was admitted to hospital after she developed abdominal pain yesterday, said the police source here on Wednesday.
Post delivery, the girl’s family member filed a complaint with the police.
The accused youth is booked under section 376 of Indian penal code and POSCO Act.
