Mangaluru, January 22: Cops have arrested a man on Wednesday January 21st, on the charges of sexually abusing his minor daughter on the charges of sexually assaulting his minor daughter constantly since six months.
The accused man, identified as Mohammed Sukoor (47), is a resident of Maloor.
It is alleged that, Sukoor had sexually assaulted his 15-year-old daughter for about six months. The girl eventually expressed her grief to her school teacher, who later informed the child welfare committee (CWC).
The CWC officials probed the girl on this matter, post which the girl filed a complaint with Kankanady police on Tuesday January 20th and Sukoor was taken to custody on January 21st.
Further investigations are underway.
