Hyderabad: It is the season of wedding and festivities. How about letting go of the dramatic eyes and lips for your special day, and instead looking your natural best? It is the hottest trend this season, especially for weddings that takes place during the day and here is how you can achieve it.

Wash, cleanse and moisturise your face before applying any products. Follow it up with a coat of primmer and then foundation. Liquid foundations work well as they don’t cake up. Never restrict the application only to the face. Cover the neckline as well, to ensure you have an even tone for the face, neck and neckline. Now dab on some compact powder. Apart from sealing in the foundation, it also ensures that the product doesn’t run or smudge on your trousseau. Also, always use a foundation that matches your skin tone. In case you don’t find one, create a shade by mixing two or more products.

For the eyes, apply a primmer and stick to only a single colour for the lid. If you are fair, opt for pinks or peaches tones; else go with a bronze or brown shade. Finish it off with a smudge proof liner and a single coat of mascara. For those who have big eyes, apply liner on the upper lid and a thin layer of kajal on the lower one. If you have small eyes, go a little thick on both the kajal and the liner.

The lips also follow the same trend as the eyes. Pinks and nudes for wheatish tonnes, while for duskier complexions, browns and light maroons work really well. Now for the cheeks, use peach or a pink shade for the apple of your cheeks and a bronzer for the hollow to highlight the cheekbones. This sort of make-up ensures that you look pretty, but natural.
